Goes together in three parts

The two ledges are separate boards with tabs that fit into slots cut through the shell.

Hangs from the back

Two metal hanger plates are fixed near the top edge on the reverse, one on each side.

Each ledge is a short, shallow board, sized for a shell, a bud vase or a small plant pot rather than books.
